Set this floor lamp in our upstairs hallway near the reading chair and it makes the space feel more like a real room. The cylinder shape is slim and does not crowd the narrow walkway. The metal finish looks tasteful and a bit understated, just what I wanted. I put a linen drum shade on top and the whole look came together nicely. At night the soft light is easy on the eyes when walking past. The cord switch is a small detail but very convenient. It stands solid on the hardwood floor and feels well built overall. A nice quiet addition to the second floor.

Placed this lamp in our foyer and it really changes the whole feeling of the space. The cylindrical column has a quiet sculptural quality that catches your eye without being too flashy. Right when you walk in, the soft glow makes the entry feel welcoming and a bit more put together. I went with the bronze finish because it matches the wood tones in the hall, and it blends in nicely. The base is solid and well balanced, no wobbling on the tile floor. I added a large shade on top and the proportions look just right for the high ceiling. It also works well in the evening when we come home late, just enough light to drop keys and bags by the console table. My kids like the warm cozy vibe it brings. Setup was straightforward, just a few pieces to attach. Overall a really nice upgrade for our home.
