We put this in our hallway between the living room and bedrooms and it looks really nice. The glass is clear and the brass frame has a warm, soft glow to it even when the light is off. It does not feel heavy on the ceiling since it sits flat against it. Our ceiling is just under nine feet and the size feels right, not too big and not too small. The shape inside the shape is a fun little detail that you notice more in person. We have it on a dimmer and it works perfectly for evening time when we just want a little light on while walking through. It was easy to wipe down with a soft cloth when it got a bit dusty. Overall a really lovely piece that adds a calm, clean look to the space.

Put this over the kitchen sink area and it has held up well with the little bit of moisture that comes from cooking and the sink. The clear glass makes it easy to see when wiping it down. I went back and forth between brass and bronze and ended up with the chrome, which looks crisp against our white cabinets. The shape is simple but interesting enough that it does not feel boring. Light is on the softer side so I swapped in a brighter bulb and now it is perfect for doing dishes and prepping food. The weight feels sturdy and it has not shifted or wiggled at all since it went up. Nice fixture that does the job and looks good doing it.
