We bought this lamp for the living room corner and it’s been working out well. The iron finish has a nice weight to it and the linen shade gives off a calm, warm light. It’s tall, slim, and doesn’t crowd the seating area. We also moved it to the bedroom for a while and it looked just as good there. The dimmer switch is handy for winding down at night. Assembly required some professional help, but that’s expected for a hardwired piece. Overall a solid, well-made floor lamp with a timeless look.
