Got the 27 inch Chatsworth for our bedroom and it works really well on the nightstand. The brass finish has a nice understated look, not too flashy, just quietly handsome. The linen shade gives off a calm, warm light that is perfect for reading before bed. I appreciate the dimmer switch on the socket, makes it easy to drop the brightness down low at night. The size feels just right, tall enough to give good light for a book but not so tall that it blocks anything. It has a solid, well made feel to it without being too heavy to move around when I dust. Pairs nicely with the wood furniture in the room and adds a nice classic touch. A really nice everyday lamp that just does its job well.

We picked the 27 inch Chatsworth lamp for our dining room sideboard and it fits in beautifully. The brass finish has a lovely aged look, not shiny or fake, just really natural and warm. At night when the lamp is on it casts the nicest gentle light over the dining table, makes dinner feel a bit more special without being too bright. The shade is a classic linen one and the proportions work really well with our table and chairs. We bought two of the Chatsworth lamps in the larger size for our sitting room and they look absolutely gorgeous flanking the sofa. The patinated brass has so much depth and character, every time I walk by I notice a new little detail in the finish. The light is so warm and inviting, perfect for a quiet evening with a cup of tea or when friends come over for a chat. The linen shades are beautifully made and the proportions of the whole lamp feel very balanced and considered.
