We installed this alabaster chandelier in our dining room about two months ago and it has completely changed the feel of the space. The alabaster disks glow so softly at night, giving off a warm light that makes every dinner feel a little more special. I love that each disk can be tilted a bit, so I aimed a couple toward the table for better light while we eat. The slender arms look really graceful hanging over our table, almost like a piece of art. Our ceiling is pretty high and the included rod segments worked out perfectly for the height we wanted. It feels solid and well made without looking too heavy or fussy. Friends have asked about it every time they visit. Cleaning is easy, just a soft dry cloth now and then. We hung this in our entryway and it has become the first thing guests notice when they walk in. The alabaster gives off this gentle warm light that is welcoming without being too bright. We picked natural brass and it has a really nice understated shine that works with the rest of our decor. The slim arms give it a very airy look even though the fixture is a good size. I love how the disks can turn, I tilted a few to highlight the mirror across the hall. It works just as well on quiet weekday evenings as it does when we are hosting.
