Bought a pair of these sconces for the dining room and they look gorgeous flanking the buffet. The tapered glass shade gives off a soft, candle like light that feels really cozy during dinner. I was a little worried the solid brass might look too shiny or trendy, but it has a classic, almost vintage look that ties in nicely with our wood table and antique rug. The size is just right, not too big, not too small. We dim them down low most nights and it sets the nicest mood. Quality feels top notch and the weight of the piece tells you it is the real deal. Definitely recommend if you want something with a bit of character.

These sconces have been on my wish list for a while and they did not disappoint. I installed three down a long hallway in our home and the effect is stunning. The clear glass shades let the bulb show through beautifully, and the brass x base gives it that little something extra without being fussy. It pairs really well with our pale walls and warm wood floors. The light is gentle, not at all overwhelming, and works great as accent lighting at night. We put two of these brass wall sconces in our entryway and they completely changed the feel of the space.
