We put the 12 inch version above our dining table and it has completely changed the feel of the room. The alabaster gives off such a soft, ambient light that dinners feel so much more cozy now. I love how each piece looks slightly different because of the natural veining in the stone, ours has subtle warm tones running through it. The brass hardware looks classic and matches well with the rest of our dining room fixtures. Installation was straightforward, though we did have an electrician help with the wiring part. The adjustable rod was nice because our ceilings are a bit higher than standard and we were able to hang it at the perfect height.
