I wanted a small accent lamp for our dining room sideboard and this one fit the bill perfectly. The hand blown glass shade gives off such a warm and cozy glow when the lamp is on in the evening. The solid brass X shaped base looks substantial and well made, it has that old world feel I was hoping for. I like that it is not too tall, just the right height to sit on the buffet without crowding the wall art above it. The little inline switch on the cord is a nice touch, very convenient. The polished nickel finish I chose looks beautiful with our other dining room accents. It arrived well packaged and the assembly was quick and easy. Very happy with this purchase, it adds such a nice ambiance to dinner time.
