I was a little nervous ordering a flushmount online without seeing it first but I am so glad I took the chance. It looks far more expensive than what I paid and the amber glass is gorgeous when the light is on. We have a long hallway that always felt a bit dark and boring, now it actually has personality. The glass catches light in such a lovely way, almost like little prisms on the ceiling. My husband and I both love how low profile it is since the hallway has a standard height ceiling. We put this flushmount in the entryway and it changed the whole feel of the space. The amber glass gives off such a soft, warm glow when you walk in at the end of the day. It is not harsh at all, just a gentle light that makes the foyer feel welcoming. The bronze frame looks rich without being too shiny or over the top. This fixture ended up being the perfect finishing touch above our dining table. The amber glass throws the most beautiful light during dinner, kind of like a soft sunset glow on the walls. We went with the bronze finish and it pairs nicely with the wood tones in the room. Installation was handled by our electrician and it sits flush against the ceiling which I really prefer in a dining space, no dangling chains or fuss. The size is just right, not too big, not too small, for a table that seats six comfortably. We have it on a dimmer and that was a great call, it goes from a bright family dinner light to a more intimate setting when friends are over. The blown glass feels substantial and well made. I have walked past it a hundred times and still enjoy looking at it. Really happy with this purchase for our home.
