We have a long entryway table in our house and this lamp sits at the end like it was made for the spot. The little shade tilts so I can angle the light toward the mirror and it makes the whole hallway feel warmer when guests come in. The metalwork has a nice weight to it, it does not feel flimsy at all. I run it on a lower setting most evenings and the light is soft and welcoming. I was a bit worried it would look too small on the table but the height works out beautifully. I have it in the burnished brass finish and it pairs nicely with the wood tones in the foyer. A really lovely little piece.
